Outfit Post: Pink Track pants and white shirt

WHITE SHIRT | ZARA Similar
PINK TRACK PANTS | ZARA
SHOES | ZARA
BAG | H&M
NECKLACE | GIFT

I came to love the track pant last Summer and what I thought was to be but a brief affair, a cheap Summer fling, has turned out to be a reliable staple, making fast friends with the basics in my closet. Surprisingly flattering (although always better with a heel, unless you're of the Gisele, Miranda or Karlie variety) and undeniably comfortable, they are my go to trouser for Summer 2014.
I picked up this pair in ZARA (see link above), opting for an on trend sugary hue with  zip detailing. I have paired them with this basic white shirt, that is a cropped boxy version of the crisp classic.
I ended up wearing the look from day to night, and it translated very well to evening, with a cropped leather jacket to fight the evening chill.

What are you're thoughts on the track pant?

Friday Favourite: Zara pink biker jacket

Every week, whether browsing online or by doing a round of the shops, I always have one particular piece that I see and that I just can't get out of my head. This week I am dreaming of this sugar pink, biker jacket from ZARA. The cut and zip design is exquisite! The only word is perfection.....

Normally I think, "if I can't have it, no one can!" ....but here is the link anyways: Click here

Outfit Post: ZARA Furry front sweater

Hi all !
Continuing on the trend of the luxe sweater (as seen in previous blog post) here is my second (and definitely not the last) luxe sweater addition to my wardrobe. I have been waiting for it to get a bit cooler to break it out.
I got this as part of a collection of birthday gifts from Lorenzo. I loved it when I saw it and it reminded me of Victoria Beckham's pony haired versions. I am such a fan of the luxe sweater. I love the idea of taking a sports item, an item of comfort and something usually not classified as fashion and elevating it to an 'IT' status.Pairing a jumper with evening wear such as a heavily beaded, floor sweeping skirt or killer heels is so fresh, still, to me.
I am hoping it is a trend that sticks for a while, as I much prefer the undone vibe than anything heavily thought out or constructed.
Here I have paired the ZARA sweater with my ZARA trf faux leather skirt, knee suede boots from Sportsgirl, boxy bag from H&M and some cool rings I picked up in Primark on my trip to London.A slick of orange lippy, to match the pocket of my bag was final touch!

I am on the look out for my next statement sweater. Any suggestions?

That's all for now,

Outfit Post: Zara leather skirt, denim shirt and bondage boots

Hi all !
So here is a new outfit post that I managed to fit on Saturday. Even though it was a bit rainy and grey I still was brave enough to break out my (pasty/Irish !) legs in my (faux) leather skirt from ZARA. I paired it with my denim shirt, another ZARA number and my new birthday boots (Primark/Pennys) from my sister, Adriana.
I was feeling quite relaxed, but I also felt to jazz it all up with a heel. Heels definitely make me feel more confident, perhaps it's a height thing ?!
The necklace is from Primark/Pennys, another birthday gift, from my other sister Claudia and the bag is from the summer ZARA sale. I have to say its a dream bag, it has so much space and it goes with everything. I am actually afraid I am over wearing it lately, so I really should invest in a new one.
I am in love with these boots, a mix of biker and bondage, with all those straps. They are quite high, but still manageable for day time. I am hoping it doesn't rain too much though, so I can profit from their backlessness, no one likes wet feet !

That's all for now !
Do you like this look ? What is your favourite autumn boot ?

Giardino degli Aranci, Rome

Here is an outfit post, with some photos I took earlier in the year. The days were much colder, so I am all wrapped up in my Zara parka and Deer printed sweater from Topshop. I am also sporting my Massimo Dutti burgandy boots. I found these, while looking for a winter coat, back in October. Of course I always find everything else, other than what I was originally shopping for. I loved these boots as they reminded me of a Mod style, plus I loved the colour.

I have also included some photos of the Giardino degli Aranci (Orange Gardens) on Aventine Hill, in Rome. One of the main features of this area is being able to look through the famous keyhole, where you can see the dome of St Paul's Basilica. My camera couldn't get a great picture through the keyhole, but it is a must visit for a trip to Rome.

That's all for now,
I hope to post again soon,

Steal Her Style: Olivia Palermo

I wouldn't blame anyone for raising an eyebrow at my Steal her Style choice. Olivia Palermo, New York socialite, better known as Whitney Port's fremeny in MTV's The City, is far from interesting. However her cold exterior and perfectly glossy locks are not what interest me. I merely want the contents of her wardrobe.

Palermo is often photographed in fashion power-house labels such as Valentino, Diane Von Furstenberg and YSL, while also supporting smaller labels such as Charlotte Olympia. However high-street brands are also top of her list as she combines designer wear with more affordable labels such as Zara and Mango. And then there is the Holy Temple of Topshop. Palermo is not just a once a week kind a girl, she is a full on missionary spreading the glory of Topshop in every perfectly accessorized outfit that she wears.

This is why I want to steal her style, her overflowing collection of Topshop pieces ! Palermo always seems to get it right and in my opinion it's her inexpensive add ons to designer threads that give her the edge.
Olivia recently chopped off her long, shiny, carefully tonged locks and has opted for a shorter mid-length bob. I was so inspired I did the same. Possibly the influence of edgy London label Topshop has made Olivia mellow out. Maybe the next time we see her will be rocking with Daisy Lowe and Pixie Geldof at Glastonbury,  in some denim cut offs and homemade jewellery??

Your thoughts are always welcome and appreciated....
Ciao for now xx
