Travel Diary: Marrakech, Part two
Hi all !
So here is part two ( I hope it's not going to be too many parts!) of my Travel Diary to Marrakech.
Taking up where we left off last, I want to tell you how breathtaking our Riad was.
As I mentioned before, it is called Riad Kaiss. On arrival, we were greeted by the bright and helpful Pierre, Manager of the Riad, who welcomed us with the traditional mint tea. He gave us all his tips on Marrakech, along with a helpful guide to restaurants and shopping. I felt at ease immediately.
Going from the hectic, hustle and bustle of the streets outside, Riad Kaiss, definitely provided a calm escape, with the sound of trickling water, from the flower filled fountain in the main courtyard and lots of little areas, with couches and armchairs to retreat to, especially with the afternoon heat.
There is also a little swimming pool on the roof of the Riad, the perfect way to cool down.
Our room had flower petals scattered on the bed and beautiful traditional shampoo, conditioner, body lotion and body wash in the bathroom. I loved their earthy and oil scent.
That's all for now,
See part one here
Stay tuned for the next instalment and more photos.
Love Dani xx
