Steal Her Style: Olivia Palermo
I wouldn't blame anyone for raising an eyebrow at my Steal her Style choice. Olivia Palermo, New York socialite, better known as Whitney Port's fremeny in MTV's The City, is far from interesting. However her cold exterior and perfectly glossy locks are not what interest me. I merely want the contents of her wardrobe.
Palermo is often photographed in fashion power-house labels such as Valentino, Diane Von Furstenberg and YSL, while also supporting smaller labels such as Charlotte Olympia. However high-street brands are also top of her list as she combines designer wear with more affordable labels such as Zara and Mango. And then there is the Holy Temple of Topshop. Palermo is not just a once a week kind a girl, she is a full on missionary spreading the glory of Topshop in every perfectly accessorized outfit that she wears.
This is why I want to steal her style, her overflowing collection of Topshop pieces ! Palermo always seems to get it right and in my opinion it's her inexpensive add ons to designer threads that give her the edge.
Olivia recently chopped off her long, shiny, carefully tonged locks and has opted for a shorter mid-length bob. I was so inspired I did the same. Possibly the influence of edgy London label Topshop has made Olivia mellow out. Maybe the next time we see her will be rocking with Daisy Lowe and Pixie Geldof at Glastonbury, in some denim cut offs and homemade jewellery??
Your thoughts are always welcome and appreciated....
Ciao for now xx

All Stars
I am back after a brief period offline. Just moved into a new apartment and just got the internet up and running so Ican finally get back to blogging !
Here is an outfit post I wanted to share with you from a Sunday trip I took a couple of weeks ago. I paired my denim shorts with this burgandy, sheer, shirt and Converse for a laid back, different take on American cool. I have to admit I only recently acquired my Converse, August to be exact. I had never considered them a personal style choice but now I see them as a fashion staple !
My sister Claudia has two pairs and with her skinny, long, legs, she even manages to pull off the high top ones. I however stuck to the classic white sneaker ,when it came to my purchase. I love them with any denim, both skinny jeans and short shorts.
Claudia has even gone so far as to design her own ones online. She chose everything from the colours, style and even has her name on them,(smart considering her sisters are always stealing her style!)
The Converse All Star shoe was originally introduced as a basketball shoe in 1917 being renamed the Chuck Taylor in 1923 after basketball player and salesman Charles H. Taylor and since then has been a favourite with both sports and rock stars alike.
What was the deciding factor in me finally coming around to these COMFORTABLE!! fashion footwear......recommendation of my boyfriend....I guess sometimes he's right !!
