Outfit Post: Oriental Express
Hi all ! Hope everyone is enjoying August and this hot weather, if that's the case where you are. I am spending this week at the beach, so I have been neglecting posting in favour of the cool sea breeze and refreshing waves. I am always updating my instagram, so you can follow me there for more regular updates @huntinginheels.
This look is an ode to ZARA ! The faux leather top, oriental pyjama bottoms and shoes are all ZARA. I am in love with the pyjama style trouser, ever since I got my leopard pair, which you can see on a previous post here. They are so comfy and easy to wear, plus I love that you can wear them casually or dressed up, just add a killer heel for night. Here I am off on a night out for some cocktails in San Felice Circeo with Lorenzo. My drink of summer is a frozen strawberry daiquiri for these balmy summer nights, I just can't get enough of them.
I am really looking forward to Friday, as me and Lorenzo are off to Marrakesh, Morocco for trip away, just the two of us. It is definitely going to be a fashion challenge, as I want to respect the culture and not wear anything too revealing or disrespectful. I don't know what to expect, but I am definitely excited. It should make for a great location for some interesting photos.
Have you any trips planned or even any advice for my upcoming trip to Morocco ?
That's all for now,
Love Dani xx

Trending: The Pixie Cut
Beyonce |
Natalie Portman |
Gwyneth Paltrow |
Jean Seberg |
Mia Farrow |
Winona Ryder |
Twiggy |
Audrey Hepburn |
Emma Watson |
Web gossip sites and social media have been buzzing about Beyonce's post of her new pixie cut. It is a drastic change for the starlet, who is famous for her long flowing tresses. The reason behind the chop is still unknown. They say that when a woman is going through a big change in her life, she heads straight to her hairdresser for a new 'do ! The Pixie crop could be a sign of a desire for liberation. However it is not an easy look to pull off and it definitely exposes more of you to the world. Perhaps it is a reference to not having anything to hide ?
Or then again maybe Jay-Z and B rented Sliding Doors for a night in front of the telly and Gwyneth's blonde pixie crop caught B's eye ?!
Who knows ? I myself admire any woman who embraces this look, after all there is no going back, even though hair does grow ! Check out the photos above, of some of my favourite Pixie Cuts and the women who rocked them.
Let me know what you think ? Have you embrace this look or would you ?
That's all for now,
Love Dani xx

Outfit Post: Sugar Dreams
Hi all !
Here is a new blog post up, on with my neon pink, lace skirt. I picked this up in Primark/Pennys around Christmas time, but I have been really getting some wear out of it lately. It's to the knee length, is very lady like and it is made from a light cotton, so perfect for these hotter days.
I paired it with a white t-shirt from ZARA and my spike necklace from Primark/Pennys. These are the shoes that I got online, at the ZARA sale. I am loving them for their comfortable kitten heel, which gives a vertically challenged person like me, just the right amount of extra height. I definitely want to invest in another similar pair for winter, as it is great to be able to walk around in heels, with out the back lash of blisters and aching feet.
I finished off the look with a slick of neon pink lipstick. I am constantly reaching for my bright lipsticks at the moment, because with it being so hot, I can't wear so much makeup, besides I don't think the melting face look is in anyway attractive, so a bright lipstick is the perfect way to polish off a look.
This skirt always reminds me of one of my favourite designer's, Christopher Kane and his neon, lazer cut dresses/skirts from Spring/Summer 2011.
Let me know your thoughts on the Neon skirt ? Great with white or is their any other colour you think would work better ?
That's all for now,
Love Dani xx

Everyone is wearing: Leather Dungarees
Paris Fashion Week Tommy Ton |
Angela Fink from The Fashion Sight in ZARA Dungarees |
LAURA DITTRICH in ZARA Dungarees from Fashion Landscape |
Leandra Medine in 3.1 Phillip Lim from The Man Repeller |
3.1 Phillip Lim Dungarees |
Fashion Flashback Cher in the 1980s |
Marjolein Lagerwerf from Never Too Polished in ZARA |
LAURA DITTRICH in ZARA Dungarees from Fashion Landscape |
Miroslava Duma |
Everyone is wearing leather dungarees right now ! Perhaps it's because ZARA did their own version of the 3.1 Phillip Lim Dungarees, and as we know, when ZARA does it, it must be popular ! I am sick of seeing THAT asymmetrical cut skirt, in black or white, that has been doing the rounds on lookbook and has been reproduced by websites, like Choies and ROMWE. That skirt and black and white stripe shirts, were the uniform of bloggers this season. Both of which completely put me off both trends.
Although ZARA had these dungarees in store for the Spring/Summer 13, I think we may be seeing more bloggers following the trend for Fall/Winter 13. This alternative take on a city farmer will be part of the blogger wardrobe in the upcoming season. So if you're a fan... BEWARE, wear yours now before the lookbookers get their claws in !
What's your take on leather dungarees ? Would you wear them or how would you style them ?
For your own pair check out these links: Nasty Gal or a good denim version at ASOS
That's all for now,
Love Dani xx
